Erik Kaiel (Lebanon/USA, 1973)
Erik Kaiel has been making dances for 20 years. He premieres a new work at the Nederlandse Dansdagen 2010, for which this work is a voorstudy. He teaches regularly at the Artez Dance Academy in Arnhem, and occasionally in Africa. He is just back from two weeks in Senegal, where he taught and built a public space performance with local dancers. He is the artistic director of Crosstown Den Haag, a choreographic fellow at Danslab, and a house choreographer at Korzo.
