The word ‘dialogue’ turns out to be a compact term summing up the work
that is done at Dansateliers. A dialogue between choreographer and viewer, between the choreographer and their dancers, between choreographers themselves
and between the choreographer and the dramaturge.

With the publication 'An open boek – dance is dialogue' Dansateliers creates a new route along which to open the exchange.

During 2009, five young authors, Fleur Bokhoven, Merel Heering, Laura Karreman,
Jochem Naafs en Annette van Zwoll studied the essential forms for dialogue in the Dansateliers practice. Their goal was to open this practice, to view it with a critical eye and to invite readers to share their feedback on it.
