Silvia Gribaudi (Italy)
A turning point in her career was the meeting in 2000 with Claude Coldy, with whom she began a training course in Dance Sensible. In 1998, she worked for the Swiss Rigolo Tanzendes Theater company and attended improvisation courses led by Maya Brosch, “physical theatre” courses led by Monica Francia and Butoh dance courses led by Pierpaolo Koss. With the same company she also participated in the show “Balance”, choreographed by Anzu Furukawa, as assistant choreographer and dancer.
In 2001, she was assistant choreographer and played the female lead part together with Luciano Padovani in the duet “2, Rue des pommes”- Naturalis Labor company (a co-production by Abano Danza Festival, Oriente Occidente Festival, Bassano Operaestate Festival-Italy).
From 2004 to 2007, she worked in various comedy shows and created numerous urban dance performances. In 2008, she participated in the eXpLo 2008 event as part of the Anticorpi eXpLo session with her performance “UNATTIMO” of which she is the creator and sole interpreter. Winner of the GD’A Veneto 2009 competition with her performance A corpo libero “Free Style”, she also took part in the “Choreoroam” project supported by the Operaestate Festival Veneto, The Place (UK), Dansateliers (NL), Dansescenen (DK), Paso a 2-Certamen Coreogrāfico de Madrid (ES), Dance Week Festival (HR).
A Corpo libero-Free Style is selected for the international circuit-Aerowaves Dance Across Europe (2010).
